Easter Weekend Paddington Travel Advice

If you’re planning to get away this Easter from Paddington Station, please plan ahead with the latest Travel advice from GWRTfL and Heathrow Express as the below information may be subject to change. Great Western Railyway (GWR)

  • Good Friday: An amended weekday service will run on most routes. Services on some routes will start later than usual and some trains will start from different stations than usual.
    No trains at Bristol Temple Meads due to engineering work. Train services will be amended to start from / terminate at Bristol Parkway, Bath Spa or Weston-super-Mare. Replacement buses will run between Bristol Parkway and Weston-super-Mare, Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads and between Bristol Parkway and Bath Spa. Buses will replace trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Avonmouth / Severn Beach.
  • Saturday: An amended Saturday service will run on most routes. No trains at Bristol Temple Meads due to engineering work. Train services will be amended to start from / terminate at Bristol Parkway, Bath Spa or Weston-super-Mare. Replacement buses will run between Bristol Parkway and Weston-super-Mare, Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads and between Bristol Parkway and Bath Spa. Buses will replace trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Avonmouth / Severn Beach.
  • Sunday: An amended Sunday service will run on most routes. No trains at Bristol Temple Meads due to engineering work. Train services will be amended to start from / terminate at Bristol Parkway, Bath Spa or Weston-super-Mare. Replacement buses will run between Bristol Parkway and Weston-super-Mare, Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads and between Bristol Parkway and Bath Spa. Buses will replace trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Avonmouth / Severn Beach.
  • Monday: No trains at Bristol Temple Meads due to engineering work. Train services will be amended to start from / terminate at Bristol Parkway, Bath Spa or Weston-super-Mare. Replacement buses will run between Bristol Parkway and Weston-super-Mare, Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads and between Bristol Parkway and Bath Spa.
    Buses will replace trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Avonmouth / Severn Beach.

Heathrow Connect

  • Good Friday: An hourly service will run. Trains will leave London Paddington at 04:42, 05:33, then hourly until 22:33. Trains will leave Heathrow Central at 05:48 and hourly until 22:48, then 00:07.
  • Saturday: An hourly service will run. Trains will leave London Paddington at 04:42, 05:33, then hourly until 22:33. Trains will leave Heathrow Central at 05:48 and hourly until 22:48, then 00:07.
  • Sunday: An hourly service will run. Trains will leave London Paddington at 06:27, 07:12 and hourly until 23:12. Trains will leave Heathrow Central at 07:13, then hourly until 23:13 and 00:07.
  • Easter Monday: An hourly service will run. Trains will leave London Paddington at 04:42, 05:33, then hourly until 22:33. Trains will leave Heathrow Central at 05:48 and hourly until 22:48, then 00:07.

Heathrow Express

  • Good Friday: A half hourly service will run. Trains will leave London Paddington at 05:25, then every half hour until 23:25. Trains will leave Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 at 05:27 then every half hour until 23:27 then 23:53.
  • Saturday: A half hourly service will run. Trains will leave London Paddington at 05:25, then every half hour until 23:25. Trains will leave Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 at 05:27 then every half hour until 23:27 then 23:53.
  • Sunday: A half hourly service will run. Trains will leave London Paddington at 06:10, then every 15 minutes until 23:25. Services will leave Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 at 06:00, 06:18, 06:33 then every 15 minutes until 23:48.
  • Easter Monday: A half hourly service will run. Trains will leave London Paddington at 05:25, then every half hour until 23:25. Trains will leave Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 at 05:27 then every half hour until 23:27 then 23:53.
