Your security is our priority. That means getting more police on our patch, maintaining an effective communication with local security services and supporting schemes like Pubwatch.

PaddingtonNow creates a safer environment for visitors, customers, residents and staff by:

  • Funding Police personnel who are dedicated to the PaddingtonNow area
  • Supporting the successful Paddington Pubwatch scheme
  • Supporting the Paddington Counter Terrorism & Security Zone in conjunction with Counter Terrorism Officers and Westminster Council
  • Championing causes and lobbying for action through Police and Council advisory groups

The BID funds a three-strong dedicated police Community Safety Team, with officers from the Metropolitan Police Service who are dedicated to the BID area and are in addition to the local Police resources. They work an irregular shift pattern, to ensure they understand and cover all aspects of local safety at all times of day and night. They make regular visits to businesses and offices in the area and if you would like to benefit from advice on how to improve your store or businesses security please contact our team directly. For community safety advice and information or to discuss local security issues you can reach the BID’s police team on 07969 651 656 , please leave a message to arrange a visit or to pass on local intelligence.
