Putting Paddington On The Map

We think Paddington is a great place to do business, live and visit and are proud to share what makes it a great place.

Information for the local community, Paddington customers and visitors, is communicated through a separate website called www.thisispaddington.com, as is the Paddington, London Youtube channel, which is run by our local partners The Paddington Partnership. The above trails are all available for download from their website.

Since 2014,  we have produced a magazine which aims to highlight the joys of Paddington, as well as those individuals and businesses that make a difference. It sets the scene for celebrating all that the area has to offer, from its restaurants to its parks and famous residents. In early 2016 it underwent a complete revamp and the result can be viewed here.

We also provide our members, both office occupiers and tourist related businesses, with a selection of free way-finding maps, as pictured below, and free maps of local walks, which help encourage people to explore the hidden gems in and around Paddington.

Ultimately the people who spend time setting up, growing and developing their business here and those living here, give the area its unique character. Our work is to highlight the places, characters, venues and events that surround them. To help raise the profile and enhance people’s enjoyment of the area, we look to create exciting and distinctive events that will bring more people here.

We work with many of our members, as well as other businesses, to deliver great projects.

One of our flagship projects sees several thousand people congregate in lovely Norfolk Square Gardens for our annual Paddington Covers Live Music Festivals – a series of three events every summer.  A great way to introduce new people to the area and for our residents to enjoy their very own garden square.

Over the years we have held many different kinds of events: food festivals, dragon boat racing, circus performances and Olympic celebrations. In 2016 for the first time, in conjunction with Shakespeare in the Squares, we hosted a performance of Much Ado About Nothing, which was warmly welcomed and appreciated by all who attended.

In 2015 to tie in with the launch of The Paddington Bear Movie, we partnered with The Paddington PartnershipLondonist, The Paddington Bear Shop and Studio Canal S.A.  to deliver a series of local walks, art trails and maps of the area, which help people discover the hidden gems in and around Paddington. Our contribution to this project was to sponsor Paddingtonscape Bear which is a part of the Pawprint Trail and the Public Art Trail, as well as to share the information about these trails to help people become more familiar with the beauty on our door step.
